Mobile computing technology has always been a forte of sorts for Samsung, and its latest range of notebooks is a case in point, that quite convincingly proves a point! To begin with, just one look at the SF411 notebook is enough for one to be smitten by it even before the notebook powers up to open a new world of possibilities. The streamlined exterior goes a long way in creating a fluidic shape and lending an ergonomic profile to the notebook, to say nothing of the fact that one can now stand apart from the regular box type notebooks! The chrome Deco line accent is just icing on the cake to create an even better prequel for a first look inside, comprising of an improved accuracy island keyboard and an ergonomic gesture pad.

Talking more in detail, the NVIDIA Optimus graphics card incorporates the energy efficient NVIDIA GeForce GT520 1GB to result in a truly unique and immersive multimedia experience, powered by enhanced graphics performance that leaves little room for improvement as far as 3D gaming is concerned. The battery life is also enhanced by automatically switching to the internal Intel graphics in case one is accessing basic applications, so now, one doesn't have to worry about standby time, and can enjoy the advanced features of the Samsung SF411. Further, the Advanced Sleep mode, another great way to save battery, allows for important data and hardware configurations to be stored on the hard drive and the notebook memory. This results in return from the hibernation mode to the active mode within just 3 seconds. In case of sudden loss of power or change of battery, data and information stay intact.

Coming back the the battery life, the SF411 offers an extensive battery life of close to 9 hours, which is certainly a lot more than notebooks from other brands offer. The advanced Lithium Polymer battery, powered by the innovative charging technology aid in the battery lasting 3 times longer than its regular capacity. With the Easy Content Share software, one can view photos, play videos and music on all kinds of DLNA (Digital Living Network Access) certified Samsung products, like cameras, mobile phones, etc. without using any wires. So, one can now share content with or to from many other devices without the need or hassle of connecting cables. Content can also be shared between close range computers by enabling the Wi-Fi Ad-hoc mode on the SF 411. Uploads, storage, conversion and delivery of heavy media files in high resolution via direct connectivity, without the requirement of a central access point, via the SF411 Easy File Transfer solution.

The sound capabilities of the SF411 are also pretty awesome, with SRS Premium Sound, which allows for a wider 'sweet spot', i.e., the area where one can enjoy music or movie sound effects in the best possible manner. Realistic 3D sound is delivered with enhanced bass and definition control for optimum clarity at high frequency, along with crystal clear dialogue. In short, the SF411 is many notebooks rolled into one.
